What HPL is?

HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate also known as laminate or synthetic plate. High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is a combination of paper pulp and phenol resin with a hard top layer of melamine resin.

HPL is composed of a number of layers. There is a transparent synthetic resin top layer (melamine) with a printed paper décor layer in colours and designs below. Some layers of phenol resin-impregnated kraft paper are then applied. This package is compressed under high pressure and high temperature into a hard cladding plate 0.7 mm thick.  We can apply this HPL top layer to any desired type and panelling thickness.
